This high-quality piece, embodying KURO's commitment to material, sewing, and silhouette, features original cotton fabric woven by Furuhashi Textile, known for its shirt fabric production in Hamamatsu (Shizuoka Prefecture).
Using a modified original shuttle loom and traditional techniques, the fabric is slowly and carefully woven at low speeds, resulting in a higher yarn density compared to conventional weaves.
This allows for a substantial feel despite using fine-count threads, similar to those used in Yamaya Textile's extra-long Supima cotton dress fabrics.
Furthermore, a special finishing process imparts shape memory and a unique crispness. The sewing is handled by Suntop, a company renowned for its advanced cutting and sewing techniques, working with top domestic and international brands.
