Description
Himagenu-kazura and Mizuhiki Rope Decoration
Himagenu-kazura remains green even through the cold winter,
and its color does not fade for a long time after being harvested,
making it an auspicious item associated with longevity and youthfulness.
It has a long history, and is even mentioned in the Kojiki (Records of Ancient Matters)
as being worn and danced by the goddess Ame-no-uzume.
This is a decoration made with plenty of Himagenu-kazura.
It is approximately 150 cm long.
Many people choose to decorate on the 28th, which is generally considered auspicious as it is a spreading out number, so we will deliver it on the 27th, the day before.
