AN23 Oshie Craft Noshime Mechanical Toy Chirimen Karakuri Noshi Seven Lucky Gods Celebration Gift Box
This is an auspicious decorative item featuring the Seven Lucky Gods on a treasure ship, with a hidden compartment in the back.
It is made entirely of chirimen (crepe fabric) and finished with meticulous handwork.
The chirimen appears to be vintage, not modern, likely from an older era of chirimen weaving.
This item has been stored at home for a long time. The front depicts the Seven Lucky Gods, and the back has a noshi (traditional gift wrapping) that opens as a mechanism.
When the noshi is opened, a landscape of Mt. Fuji is revealed, and opening it again reveals finely crafted auspicious items held by the Seven Lucky Gods.
The artwork shows no fading or damage. However, please understand that this is an old item.
It is a very carefully and beautifully finished piece.
It comes in a paulownia wood box with a glass cover.
