They may also have minor scratches, subtle surface irregularities, polishing marks, or signs of insect activity. These are not considered defects, so please understand this before purchasing.

About Olive Wood Kitchenware:
Olive wood is said to have natural antibacterial properties, making it resistant to mold and durable for long-term use.
To preserve its natural texture, no coloring or artificial coatings are applied.
As these are carved directly from ancient olive wood, each piece varies in shape, size, and character. Knots, small cracks, grooves, or wood undulations may also be present, but these are considered characteristics of the natural material and the warmth of handmade items. Please understand and accept this before purchasing.

Olive wood has natural antibacterial properties, so chlorine-based bleaches are not necessary.
Use them just like any other wooden kitchenware. After use, wash off any residue with a mild detergent as soon as possible, just as you would with regular dishes.
Avoid using dishwashers. Prolonged soaking in water followed by extreme drying and heating can cause cracking, warping, and splitting.
The surface is finished with edible salad oil, so please wash with dish soap before use. After washing, the surface oil will be removed, revealing the naturally pale wood color of the olive.
After washing, quickly wipe off any moisture and store in a well-ventilated area. Periodically rubbing the surface with a soft cloth and vegetable oil will enhance its flavor and longevity.
Applying oil during long-term storage can also prevent excessive drying.
