Description
This is a kneading bowl for making soba noodles, udon noodles, bread, and more.
It can also be used as a container for sushi rice for hand-rolled sushi.
It is made by carving out a large piece of wood.
I bought this a while ago in Kiso, Nagano Prefecture. I used it a few times for hand-rolled sushi, but it has been stored away for a long time.
There are dents on the rim that are not very noticeable (see 4th photo).
The lines in the 3rd photo are natural wood grain, not scratches.
