Product Features:
The hive body boxes and entrance box are made from Kumamoto cedar, with a thickness of 30mm, making them resistant to heat and cold.
The wood is not charred to allow the material to breathe and easily regulate internal humidity. The goal is to maximize the bees' vitality by keeping the environment as natural as possible.
A hive box that easily regulates humidity yields honey with higher sugar content. The comb foundation support bars used in the hive body boxes are 8mm thick and fitted into place.
Our hives feature parallel comb foundation support bars, and the hive body boxes are stacked with the bars alternating horizontally and vertically. This arrangement minimizes the presence of bars that bees dislike, while providing an effect similar to a grid pattern.
It also makes it easier to insert blades, such as knives, during honey harvesting.
The entrance box uses a slide-type entrance board, allowing for easy inspection of the interior.
The standard entrance height is 6mm. By inverting the entrance board, you can confine the honeybees, making relocation convenient.
