This is a calorie-rich substrate made from 100% oak sawdust, which Great Horned Stag Beetles prefer, finished with the highest quality Himalayan Hiratake mushroom culture.

We have further refined the regular Himalayan Hiratake substrate into finer particles for easier consumption and added three times the amount of nutritional additives, including trehalose, glucose, chitosan, royal jelly, highly active gluten, arginine, calcium, minerals, enzymes, yeast, special amino acids, and symbiotic bacteria. This is a specially selected calorie-rich substrate.


We do not use any spent substrate. Instead, we crush new substrate made from fresh sawdust and carefully ferment it indoors.

This is our ultimate, meticulously crafted substrate, fermented three times with significant cost and time investment.

Other companies' fermented substrates use spent substrate as raw material or ferment outdoors, leading to the proliferation of unwanted insects and fruit flies.
