Rare Shiga Koka Natural Material Rattan Basket Bag Artisan Hand-Woven Leather Handle

This is a handcrafted rattan basket bag purchased in Koka City, Shiga Prefecture.

This exquisite piece is carefully woven from natural rattan, featuring a beautiful gradient from deep brown to black (tie-dye) that gives it an antique-like charm.

The handle is made of high-quality genuine leather, which fits comfortably in your hand, adding a touch of elegance to the rustic design of the basket bag.

It is versatile and can be paired not only with traditional Japanese attire (kimono and yukata) but also with casual outfits like denim.

A pink Thai silk inner bag has been added to the inside (this was done by an amateur). It can be removed if not needed, or you can replace it with your preferred lining.
