Dwarf Water Lily Plant with Leaves (Outdoor Cultivation) For purifying Medaka fish biotope and providing shade from hot sun
We are selling a division of a dwarf water lily plant that has started to sprout new shoots. You will receive approximately one plant as shown in the photo.
As shown in the 5th photo, it is planted in a pot with small-grained Akadama soil and cultivated outdoors in a Medaka (Japanese killifish) breeding tank.
The photos from the 14th onwards are not of the plant being sold, but are of water lily flowers that bloomed from the parent plant from which this division was taken. Please use them as a reference for the flower's appearance.
The size is approximately 10cm (width) x 10cm (depth) x 20cm (height).
There is a possibility of snails, algae, or Medaka eggs (Mariage Longfin variety) being mixed in.
Introducing water lilies into a biotope can reproduce an environment closer to nature through water purification effects. Additionally, the large leaves float on the water surface like a parasol, protecting the Medaka from direct sunlight. It also helps to moderate water temperature rise, reducing stress on the Medaka, which can lead to improved coloration of the fish.
The item will be shipped using RakuRaku Mercari便 (a shipping service). The plant will be wrapped in moistened kitchen paper for moisture retention, placed in a Ziploc bag, and then shipped.
