Purchased at an antique shop about 15 years ago, this is a vintage, large Chimayo rug that was sourced in America. It's a magnificent piece with a rare indigo blue color and pattern. I believe it dates from around the 1950s-1960s.
The approximate size is 225cm x 124cm (excluding fringe). The price has been reduced due to fold creases and a tear in the area shown in the 5th image.
Chimayo rugs with this color and intricate design from this era are difficult to find. Thank you for your understanding of vintage and used items.
