After collection, items were boiled, sun-dried, and processed.
Pinecones have had debris and seeds removed with a brush.
Acorns were frozen, then sun-dried and wiped with a towel.
Some items with caps are naturally attached, while others are secured with glue.
The Bay Oak acorns are not cracked, but due to drying, they are starting to crack with striped patterns. We've intentionally left them as is, as we find them charming.
For crafts and handmade projects.
