Description
★ Retro Showa Era Wooden Rice Tub with Lid!
★ Dimensions:
Tub: Diameter (outer) approx. 26cm
Diameter (inner) approx. 23.5cm
Depth (height) (outer) approx. 18cm
Depth (height) (inner) approx. 14.5cm
Lid: Diameter approx. 26.5cm
Height approx. 4.5cm
★ The hoops around the tub are made of braided copper (chain).
★ Capacity is unknown as there are no instructions, but it likely holds up to about 5 go (approx. 0.9 liters).
★ As it has been stored for many years, the wood is well-dried. There are slight gaps currently, but they are said to close up after soaking in water for a while.
★ The wood is light and soft, so there are some minor chips on the rim of the tub. (Please check the images for details).
★ It appears to have been used for home gatherings over 40 years ago. As this is a used item stored at home, there are stains and dirt. Please purchase only if you understand that this is a used item.
★ We think it would also be great for serving chirashizushi or as a sushi tub!
★ We will pack it securely with bubble wrap, ensure it's waterproof, place it in a cardboard box, and ship it via Mercari delivery as quickly as possible!
★ We have another similar ohitsu listed separately. Please let us know in the comments if you'd like to purchase both, and we can offer a discount.
★ Feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions!
Immediate purchase is also welcome.
