2 Nippon Carpenter Bees Specimen
This is a specimen of *Anthophora nipponensis* collected in 2024.
(There is a pinhole.)
These are fluffy bees that appear from early spring to early summer. Males have long antennae and fly around erratically. Seeing these bees when many other insects are not yet active signals the start of the season.
*Please note that as this is a wild-collected specimen, there may be minor scuffs. Please examine the photos carefully before considering your purchase.
