My beloved cat passed away, and her 49th memorial service is approaching.
When I first took her to the vet, her kidney function levels were so poor they couldn't be measured; she was at Stage 4.
From there, with therapeutic food and IV treatments, she recovered to around Stage 2, but then gradually worsened again and passed away at the age of 13.
Initially, the vet said she might not even last 3 months, but she fought for a whole year.
