[Points]
?Food is placed in two locations on the top floor of the house, allowing for observation of dubia roach behavior.
?By not using egg cartons, the risk of allergies from dubia roach droppings attached to egg cartons is significantly reduced.
?Dubia roaches do not prefer plain water and are sensitive to humidity. Therefore, we recommend providing food that contains moisture, such as insect jelly or vegetables, instead of a water dish.
?If feeding powdered food, a food dish will be necessary, which requires replacement and can lead to allergies from accumulated droppings. We recommend placing rabbit food in one of the top-floor locations and insect jelly or human food in the other.
?The case is processed so that droppings fall to the bottom.
?The mesh on the lid has fine openings to prevent flies from entering.
?Magnets on the shelters connect with magnets on the floor to prevent the houses from shifting.
?The back of the case is processed to allow for the attachment of a panel heater. Placing a panel heater underneath can cause uneven distribution of dubia roaches. Additionally, humidity is a major enemy for dubia roaches. By attaching the heater to the back, we have devised a way for dubia roaches to regulate their own temperature.
