Matsumoto Ippon Negi ? 100 Green Onion Seedlings

These are spring-sown green onion seedlings.

In Nagano Prefecture, a cold region, autumn sowing is common, but spring sowing is said to be less prone to rust disease, so we nurture them and sow them every spring.

In Nagano Prefecture, it is said that planting in June is still possible, but in warmer regions, autumn planting and overwintering cultivation are also possible.

Matsumoto Ippon Negi are softer and sweeter than the single-stalk green onions you see in supermarkets. When heated, they have a melt-in-your-mouth texture, making them perfect for hot pot dishes!

No disinfectants are used, so you can enjoy them as a garnish green onion immediately after arrival.
