About Trifari...
Gusabo Trifari, born in Naples, Italy in 1883, gained knowledge of jewelry while working at his grandfather's goldsmith shop.
In 1904, Gustavo immigrated to New York, USA, and began manufacturing costume jewelry with his uncle.
In 1910, Gusatbo and his uncle established Trifari & Trifari and began selling jewelry, but soon after, Gustavo became independent and founded Trifari in 1912, manufacturing and selling high-quality costume jewelry.
TRIFARI PAT PEND (1932-1954) is particularly special; as there were no copyrights for jewelry design at the time, designers protected their designs by applying for patents. Many of these pieces were designed by Alfred Philippe, who also designed for Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels.
How about for outings or for your collection?^^
