Description
These are seed grains from Masanobu Fukuoka's Happy Hill, harvested in 2025. The harvested rice was threshed and stored.
Grown in Kyushu.
This is the 6th year of natural farming (no fertilizers or pesticides used) in our rice paddies. The fields are not tilled and are flooded during winter. The rice is dried in the sun on racks.
We have been saving seeds every year.
Happy Hill is said to be suitable for upland rice cultivation. (We do not grow upland rice ourselves, but we wonder if anyone would like to try it.)
The seed grains are unselected, so we have included a little extra.
