Zensui NYOS QUANTUM 120 (50Hz) Protein Skimmer
62.70 $
Description
Purchase Date: January 2023
Purchased as a protein skimmer for a 60cm overflow aquarium, but it was not used.
Tested for operation, and despite being an AC pump, it was very quiet.
The skimmer cup is easy to remove and clean.
Since purchasing used, the screw on the motor base was loose and not fully engaged, so I replaced it with a slightly longer screw.
Additionally, the insulation on the cord at the base of the motor had deteriorated, so it has been repaired with waterproof and insulating heat-shrink tape (see photo 2).
A photo of the operation test is shown in photo 3.
Please understand that this is a used item and make your decision accordingly.
