60s 70s Junghans Wall Clock Teak Scandinavian Denmark Vintage
A vintage wall clock by Junghans, designed in the 1960s-70s with teak wood and ceramic.
The design, combining a teak wood dial with tiles, is striking. Rhythmic rows of round, deep green tiles serve as indices, with a similar tile motif in the center. The main design features a beautiful flower with a gradient from orange to red, harmonizing with the surrounding woodwork.
The shop salut, specializing in small items and Scandinavian furniture, also sold a similar clock purchased in Denmark (it has already been sold).
The mark of the long-established German clock manufacturer, Junghans, is present on the front. Junghans, which manufactured various clocks from wood, ceramic, and other materials, appears to have been popular in neighboring Denmark as well.
Its presence makes it a perfect addition to a white living room wall, adding warmth to the room's interior.
Ideal for Scandinavian interiors, as well as Mid-Century and natural interiors.
