Features and Denitrification Effect of Visco Pearl:
Functions as a Denitrification Carrier: Cellulose serves as an organic carbon source for denitrifying bacteria, promoting the process of reducing nitrates to nitrogen gas.
No Anaerobic Conditions Required: Exhibits high denitrification capacity even in aerobic environments, without the need for the low oxygen environment (anaerobic tank) typically required for denitrification treatment.
Use in Aquariums: Simply place in a net and install in the filter layer to reduce nitrate levels. Approximately 200ml is recommended for 50-100 liter aquariums, with effects lasting about 1 month.
Low Environmental Impact: Made from natural wood-derived materials and is biodegradable.

As it is reduced, it eventually dissolves and disappears. I used it by putting it in small amounts into a mesh bag and placing it in the skimmer.
