Description

Purple double-flowered clematis.

- Plant Type: Clematis
- Flower Color: Purple
- Pot Color: White, Size: 15x15 cm
- Flower Characteristics: Double-flowered
- Variety: Suisei No. 2

Searching for Clematis Suisei No. 2 revealed the following:

- Blooming Period: Blooms repeatedly from May to October, a four-season bloomer.
- Blooming Habit: Blooms on both old and new wood.

- Pruning After Flowering: After the flowers finish blooming, prune 2-3 nodes below the spent flower. This encourages a second bloom.

- Summer Care: Intense direct sunlight and west-facing sun in mid-summer can weaken the plant, so it's best to move it to a semi-shaded location during the summer.

- Watering: This plant requires a lot of water. Even when planted in the ground, water at least once a week from spring to summer.

- Root Sensitivity: The roots are delicate, so it's best not to transplant once planted in the ground.

Small buds are present at the tip.
