This is a high-quality Tempranillo made from grapes with an average age of 30 years from the prestigious Rioja Alta region. A delightful wine with a smooth and silky texture.
After fermentation, it is aged for approximately 18 months in French oak barriques (50% new, 50% one-year-used). Malolactic fermentation is carried out entirely in barriques.
If Roda I (Uno) is described as powerful and masculine, then Roda can be described as feminine and delicate.
While it may not have the same concentration and power as I (Uno), Roda nevertheless possesses a similar flavor profile.
It has a deep cherry color, complexity from the barrel, and a warm, soft mouthfeel.
