We have added the following information in response to inquiries about induction cooktop compatibility.

We used this over an open flame at home.
Since we do not have an induction cooktop, please excuse us for the information obtained from the internet. m(_ _)m

It is said that stainless steel made of magnetic material can be used with induction cooktops. This is made of 18-10 stainless steel, and a magnet did not attach when tested, so it is likely not magnetic and not compatible with induction cooktops.
