Purchased as a gift for a family member, but it was a defective item from the start, as it kept rotating continuously after being powered on and wouldn't stop.

The rotation stops when you turn the power on and off, so you could set up to 6 meals at once and turn the power on each time to rotate it. This might save time on portioning food (though this is not the intended use, so please use at your own risk ┏o）.

Alternatively, perhaps someone who can repair it or needs parts for replacement?

*Although the description is provided, this is a junk item. It will continue to rotate.
*Although unused, there are initial scuffs on the main unit.
