【Melt-in-your-mouth Sweet Aged Honey Ume】
These honey-pickled plums are made from Nanko-ume (a variety of Japanese plum) that are thick-fleshed and fully ripened. They are pickled in natural coarse salt in a jar for 2 years to age, then coated in our homemade honey seasoning. The plum flesh becomes very soft, resulting in a melt-in-your-mouth sweet texture. These are our popular honey-pickled plums. We pack only those with minor imperfections, such as slight peeling or bruising during production. The taste is exactly the same as the premium product!
Perfect with rice, chazuke (rice with tea), and onigiri (rice balls). Each plum is large, 2L-3L size, offering a satisfying bite.
