By filling the tank inside the main unit with saltwater and inserting the included metal rods, it can light up for approximately 120 hours (about 5 days). In emergencies, you can also use readily available liquids such as urine or seawater.
A major feature of this product is its shelf life. For disaster preparedness and mitigation products, it is important that they can be used reliably after long-term storage.
For example, lanterns that use dry batteries may not work when you need them because the batteries naturally discharge over long periods of storage.
With this product, the state of being set up with water, salt, and metal rods is considered fully charged, so you can use it with peace of mind even after long-term storage without worrying about natural discharge.
In addition to light, it can also be used as a simple battery.
This product is equipped with a USB connector, and you can charge USB devices (approx. 100mA) using the included dedicated USB cable.
