This is a Whale Knife (Sperm Whale) from Fujigen Hamono Seisakusho (Mr. Satoshi Yamashita), made with the traditional craft techniques of Tosa Uchihamono from Kochi Prefecture.

This knife was originally created for sharpening pencils for children, and its charming design features a rounded tip for safety. As each piece is hand-forged (free forging) by a craftsman, every knife has a unique handmade feel.

[Product Condition]
Usage Frequency: Used a few times for sharpening pencils at my desk after purchase, then kept in home storage.

Blade Condition: No chips on the blade, and it remains sharp.

Rust/Scratches: Due to the nature of iron products (carbon steel), there is a slight dullness from age, but no noticeable rust. There is a small chip on the tail.
