Beautiful condition, Box Shrine, Shinto altar, Paulownia, Shinto altar set, Sakaki

This is a set of a Hakomiya (box shrine) style kamidana (Shinto altar) and sakaki (sacred branches).
I purchased this item, which was being sold on Rakuten Ichiba for 18,800 yen.

I kept it in my living room for about a year to store amulets, but after moving, it was stored away in a closet.
It is in good condition with no sun fading, but it may have some dust on it. I will wipe off as much as possible before shipping, but please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect condition item.

*There are black smudges and black lines. Please see images 6 and 8.
It is unclear whether these were present at the time of purchase or occurred during storage.

Beautiful Tono Hinoki series, a beautiful shrine that embodies high-quality cypress wood and excellent woodworking techniques. This is a high-end line with a clear design yet a strong presence.

This is a very thin Hakomiya in a rectangular shape with a reduced depth. It is a unique altar that breaks away from traditional shrine designs. Small Shinto ritual items are placed on the shrine's縁台 (en-dai - a type of platform). The deep red御簾 (misu - a bamboo blind) and decorative lattice windows create an elegant atmosphere. The functional structure also makes it easy to place large Ofuda (amulets).
