Set of 2 Zori (Japanese sandals) for celebratory and mourning occasions
This is a set of 2 zori, one for formal occasions (gold) and one for mourning (black).
With this one set, you can be prepared for both celebratory events and mourning events.
A mourning armband is also included, making this a highly practical set that covers all formal occasions such as ceremonies and funerals.
[Set Contents]
① Gold (for celebratory occasions/formal wear)
The entire zori is unified in gold with an elegant sheen, making it suitable for formal celebratory events such as entrance ceremonies, graduation ceremonies, weddings, Shichi-Go-San (Children's Day festival), shrine visits, and Coming-of-Age ceremonies.
・Actual measurements
Length: approx. 24cm
Heel height: approx. 5.5cm
Toe thickness: approx. 2cm
・Condition
Due to long-term storage, one of the toes has a slight discoloration. Also, on both zori, the bottom of the toe area is slightly lifted, possibly due to glue peeling off due to age (images 7-9). It sticks when pressed, but returns to its lifted state over time.
② Black (for mourning occasions/funeral wear)
Made with a matte finish that suppresses shine, this zori is suitable for calm attire at funerals, wakes, and memorial services.
・Actual measurements
Length: approx. 23.5cm
Heel height: approx. 3.5cm
Toe thickness: approx. 1cm
・Condition
There is a small scratch on one of the zori (image 19).
③ Accessories
Ribbon back strap
Mourning armband (with safety pin)
