Modern "Mitt" Lounge Chair by Bernhardt Design Blue

A Mitt Lounge Chair Designed by Harry and Claudia Washington and manufactured by Bernhardt Design (An additional pair is also available). The organic minimalistic profile of the chair reminds one of a baseball glove. It cradles the sitter but also provides plenty of support. This chair was made circa 2020 and is in lightly used condition. It is covered in a bright light blue fabric with exposed white loop master stitching and a handle on the back. The stylish chair will provide a pop of vibrant color to any interior. The rounded open design is casual and allows versatile sitting and lounging position. The weight-locking casters and a large loop handle on the back also make it very user-friendly. Founded in 1889, Bernhardt Design got its start in Lenoir, North Carolina. While John Mathias Bernhardt originally conceived it as an industrial company, he soon realized that the abundant natural resources of the region, combined with the meticulous woodworking skills of the local people, could be put to better use in a furniture company. Thus, Bernhardt Design was born. Over the ensuing decades, Bernhardt and his team steadily worked to improve and refine their products, developing the brand into the powerhouse it is today.
