Description
Ornate vintage brass jewelry box by Empire Art Gold (E.A.G.) features a stunning filigree lid with green enamel accents and a central portrait miniature of a lady in a feathered hat. The rectangular box sits on four small feet and opens to reveal a velvet-lined interior, perfect for storing trinkets or keepsakes. The exterior displays a rich, aged patina with intricate floral and scrollwork patterns characteristic of early 20th-century vanity decor. Please note the glass covering the central portrait insert is cracked, and the interior lining shows signs of wear and age-related staining. Approximate size: 6 x 4 1/4 x 2 1/4
