☆ Unused Item [Pure Silk Date Jime] For Remake *With Flaws!!

Therefore, although it is a Datejime (sash), please consider it for remake purposes.
Also, please read the description until the end.

This is a Showa-era pure silk Datejime.
It was purchased at an antique shop over 10 years ago. It is unused (new old stock).

It is a vibrant red (vermilion) with a subtle patterned texture and some Shibori (tie-dyeing), and the pure silk feels soft.
The size is unknown as it is sewn shut.

Although it is unused, there is damage!
The inner core appears to be significantly deteriorated.
It makes a crackling sound every time it is touched. The material is also unclear, whether it is paper or plastic.
If it is unstitched, it may break into small pieces. (It is currently still connected.)

Therefore, we recommend using it for fabric remakes rather than as a Datejime.
If you intend to use it as a Datejime, significant maintenance will be required.

The core and the inner part of the fabric have not been inspected. There may be further age-related deterioration there.
The original plastic bag has been discarded due to deterioration. It will be sent in a new bag.

We do not recommend this for those who are particular about cleanliness or who are looking for a Datejime that can be used immediately.
Please only purchase if you are okay with the damage!

It will be folded compactly (including the core) and shipped via Mercari delivery.
If you purchase, please do so with the understanding that it is unused but an old item with damage.
