Authentic Oshima Tsumugi Men's Kimono

This is a 4-piece set including a genuine Oshima Tsumugi kimono, haori (outer jacket), haori himo (cord), and a matching nagajuban (under-kimono). It is a new, unused item with the original basting stitches still attached, kept in long-term storage.

It was custom-made at a kimono shop, but as there are no plans to wear it, it is being listed for sale.

Upon inspection for listing, I found some folding creases from storage, but no damage or stains. During the inspection, I noticed a small knot, which I researched and found to be a characteristic texture of Tsumugi silk (not a defect, see images 18 and 19).

No camphor was used during storage, but there is a slight tobacco scent as there is a smoker in the household.

With the accompanying certificate, the quality is excellent, the texture is very pleasant, and it is lightweight.
Please understand that this is a long-term storage item. Thank you for your consideration.

The protective paper (tatōshi) has been replaced with new ones, separated into two sets: one for the kimono and haori, and one for the nagajuban.

For shipping, all four items will be placed in the kimono shop's box (image 20), wrapped in plastic to protect against moisture, and then securely packed in a cardboard box. Note: The box for the haori himo is not included.
