Sandalwood Fan 1970s-1980s

This is a sandalwood fan.

It is likely from the late 1970s to early 1980s. My father brought it back from a business trip to Hong Kong as a gift for my mother. It still has a lovely fragrance. I am not knowledgeable about such things, so I have left it as is, but I believe it would smell even more fragrant with proper care. The box is damaged. I don't believe there are any stains on the fan itself or the tassel.
I remember my mother using it on outings when I was a child.

I will waterproof it with a plastic bag and ship it in a paper bag, plastic bag, or cardboard box. Depending on the item, I may include flyers or other cushioning materials. All packaging will be from recycled materials. I will ship via Yu-Yu Mercari便 or Raku-Raku Mercari便.
