Description
Thank you for looking.
This is a summer Oshima silk kimono for men, purchased about 20 years ago at a men's kimono specialty store in Tsukishima, Tokyo.
(The store appears to have moved to Higashi-Ginza.)
Men's kimonos don't look good if the size isn't right.
It's the perfect size for me at 173 cm tall and 65 kg, so it's suitable for someone around 173 cm.
The color is a light brown, as seen in the first image and the image taken with the haori himo (cord).
Please understand that other images may appear different from the actual color due to lighting conditions.
The haori himo shown in the image is included.
It coordinated perfectly with the Ojiya chijimi kimono jacket that I am also selling separately.
Please refer to the last image.
I often wore this when traveling abroad, and in Singapore, children would shout Samurai! Samurai! and chase after me.
Traveling overseas in a kimono is the best!
