two very different microwavable bacon dishes from the same company Litton Ware late 1970s and 1980s both is a high-density, thermoset polyester (melamine-based). It is extremely durable and, unlike many modern plastics, it doesn't melt or warp easily. safe in conventional ovens up to 400°F, but they were primarily designed for microwaves. Do not use them under a broiler, as the direct intense heat will crack the material.
