Noritake "Keep Forever" Christening Plate 60s Bone China

Noritake Keep Forever Christening Plate ******missing lid to box****** popular baby gifts from the 1960s through the late 1970s Design: Features a sweet, pastel scene of a baby sleeping in a wicker basket (cradle), surrounded by bunnies, squirrels, birds, and flowers. Dimensions: Approximately 8 1/4 inches (often listed as 8.25 or 8 3/8). The Glaze: Noritake used a high-fired bone china or fine porcelain glaze that gives the plate a soft, pearlescent glow. This helps the pastel colors pop without looking garish. Gold Filigree: If your version has the gold rim, that is likely 22kt gold leaf applied over the glaze. It’s a very thin, elegant line that frames the busy scene in the center, keeping it from looking too cluttered. The Scalloped Edge: The gentle waves around the rim of the 8 1/4 plate add a tactile, premium feel that sets it apart from a standard flat dinner plate. Back of the plate is unglazed or specifically treated to allow parents to record the child's name, date of birth, and christening details using a ballpoint pen. Origin: Made in Japan by Noritake (often marked with the Keep Forever branding). ^531... weight 1 lb 0.8 Oz Very Good Condition will come EXACTLY AS SHOWN LOVE TO BUNDLE with other items SMOKE FREE Pet Free Environment
