Vintage Revere Ware 4 Pc Copper Clad Saucepan Set 1 Qt 2 Qt w/Lids USA Patent

Vintage Revere Ware Copper Clad Stainless Steel 4-piece saucepan set, including two saucepans and two matching lids. These are earlier USA-made Revere Ware pieces with the classic 1801 Revere Ware Copper Clad Stainless Steel bottom stamp and patent markings.  The underside stamp shows Patent 2272609 and Made Under Process Patent 2363973, which identifies these as earlier American-made copper-clad Revere Ware pieces. The Henry Ford collection lists a Revere Ware saucepan with this same style of patent marking as dating from 19501960. The copper-clad construction patent itself relates to bonding a copper layer to stainless cookware for improved heat distribution. Stainless interiors show normal utensil marks, spotting, and signs of use. Copper bottoms show oxidation, heat staining, and patina. Lids have normal scratches and spotting.
