Moonlit Wish - Japanese Subtitled VHS Video Software (Rental Used Item)

Thank you for viewing.

This is a used rental VHS video software, The Wishing Tree, with Japanese subtitles.

Due to the nature of this being an old VHS tape, there may be some flickering and rough image quality (a brief moment of image disturbance at the beginning). However, there are no major damages such as tape winding that would interfere with playback. The case and the video cassette tape itself have dirt and damage due to age (sticker removal marks), and rental store management stickers are affixed to the jacket and cassette tape (original promotional material included).

Please consider this after understanding the above.

▶Main Cast
★Tony Leung (e.g., Chungking Express)
★Leon Lai (e.g., The Founding of a Republic)
★Carina Lau (e.g., Days of Being Wild)
★Anita Yuen (e.g., He's a Woman, She's a Man)

◎Fan (Lai), who neglects his family to help others, and his mother, Laura (Lau). Their son, Yun (Leung), despises his father. By chance, Tony time slips to the 1960s. There, he sees his parents in their youth and a Hong Kong street full of human kindness that everyone had forgotten. While the time-slip setting is reminiscent of the Hong Kong version of BTF, this work depicts the bonds of family and father and son more deeply than the McFly father and son. Carina Lau's portrayal, perhaps a respectful nod to Lee Thompson in BTF with her fuller figure, is enjoyable, and Anita Yuen's deep voice, a tradition of beautiful Hong Kong actresses?, is also a delight. Furthermore, Tony's character is a playboy who can make girls fall for him just by shooting beams from his eyes, they disguise themselves as Indians as father and son, and there's even a singing scene by Tony Leung, making this a must-see for Tony fans!
This work feels like a deep imprint of the atmosphere and texture of 90s Hong Kong cinema, which we may not be able to experience again with similar masterpieces.

For those who love good old Hong Kong films and want to experience them on a nostalgic, retro VHS video tape just like in those days, please consider adding this to your collection.
Also, I apologize, but I do not accept price negotiations or create dedicated pages. Thank you for your understanding.
