Sanada Himo possesses both functional beauty and design.

It is often mistaken for kumihimo (braided cord), but kumihimo is braided, while Sanada Himo is woven.
Sanada Himo, woven into a flat cord with warp and weft threads, is said to be one of the narrowest woven fabrics in the world.
Its characteristics of being difficult to stretch and easy to retie have made it loved by people for a long time for tying luggage and suspending heavy objects.
