This piece was brought to Japan from America during the Meiji to Taisho eras and repurposed as an obi-dome. The obi-jime is a beautiful moss green with embroidered fern-like leaves. It's very tasteful and stylish. The coin is approximately 1.5cm in diameter. The obi-jime is about 8mm wide.
