[Founder: Intangible Cultural Heritage Taro Goshima Biography]

Born in 1879 in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
Designated as an Intangible Cultural Heritage in March 1960.
In February 1963, he submitted Kumiito Shukan, a collection of all the works he had devised, compiled into 9 volumes, to the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
Awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon in November 1963.
Awarded the Order of the Sacred Treasure, Fifth Class in April 1967.
