30s Bridal Headpiece - Velvet Leaf Juliet Cap & Orange Blossom Halo Crown

This is a beautiful archival piece of antique/vintage millinery that is perfect for a wedding or bridal occasion.  It is a juliet cap/halo hybrid that has a rigid, sculptural crown structure designed to sit far back on the head/frame the crown and would often secure a veil. This silhouette was very popular in the 1930s to pair with liquid satin/bias cut silk gowns.  The ear tabs/wing shaped side panels are meant to hug the sides of the head or sit above the ears, which was also a classic design element of 30s millinery.   Beautifully layered velvet leaves/petals that is meant to look like stylized wings/feathers or wreath like foliage.  Mixed with delicate floral orange blossoms trimming the top. Based on the materials and design aesthetic I believe this is from the 1930s, but this structural shape was also very popular in the 50s so it could be as late as the 50s.
