Bubble Glass Vase Demijohn Onion Simplicity Vase 100% Recycled Eco Friendly‎

Round glass vase crafted from recycled glass, giving it a light aqua or blue-green tint. The shape is often described as a demijohn, onion shape, or globular, with a narrow neck and flared lip. It is an excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It is made from 100% recycled glass, an eco-friendly process. Making new glass means heating sand to 2600 degrees. One of the steps in glass recycling is to crush the glass and create a product called cullet. Making recycled glass from cullet consumes 40% less energy than making new glass because cullet melts at a much lower temperature. It also allows post-consumer products to have a new life instead of ending up in landfills. Design: The vase has a distinctive stout, organic bubble shape and a lipped, narrow opening, making it ideal for displaying a few flower stems or as a standalone decorative piece. The color is a light blue, aqua or seafoam green, which can appear differently depending on the lighting, giving it a vintage, coastal, or farmhouse aesthetic. While often referred to as a bottle, it is primarily used as a decorative item or a bud vase for displaying a single flower, dried stems, or greenery. Ships from the Midwest.
