Vintage Taylor, Smith & Taylor “Wild Rice” dinnerware from the Taylorton line, designed by John Gilkes.  This lot includes: • One large oval serving platter (approximately 15”) • Six bread & butter/dessert plates (approximately 6¼”)  Pattern: Wild Rice  Backstamp reads: Taylorton American Fine China A John Gilkes Design Oven Proof • Craze Proof • Detergent Proof Taylor, Smith & Taylor Co., U.S.A. Wild Rice  The pattern features stylized brown and tan rice stalks and dates to the early 1960s.  Condition is very good vintage with no chips or cracks noted. The pattern remains crisp and glossy. There are light utensil marks consistent with normal use. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description.
