【New】Saxophone Pad Sticking & Mold Prevention Tool - Set of 2 (Black & Blue)

This is a set of two tools (Black and Blue) to prevent sticking of permanently closed saxophone keys (Low C#, Low Eb, G#).

This tool prevents pad corrosion caused by blue mold, which is a concern especially when keys stick, in humid conditions, or during long-term storage.

Made of silicone rubber.

To install, do not sandwich it between the tone hole and the pad. Instead, push it under the key arm to lift the pad. (Set it so that it does not touch the pad.) Please refer to the example installation in the photo.

We have confirmed that this size can be used with alto, soprano, tenor, and C melody saxophones. For tenor and vintage saxophones, remove the connection and use the thickness of the flat rubber band for installation. However, for soprano saxophones, be careful about interference with the case when storing it.
The photo shows an example of installation on Low C# and Low Eb. Due to the structure, if the Low Eb is lifted, the G# will also be lifted.

It is very effective in preventing sticking and mold, which were concerns, and makes playing more comfortable as sticking is no longer an issue.
However, it is still necessary to remove moisture with a swab and cleaning paper after playing, as before.
