【Price Reduction】Kruspe Bassoon - Adjusted

This is a bassoon from the former East German manufacturer Kruspe.
I have cherished it and truly do not want to sell it, but I have decided to declutter for a new chapter in my life.

It was adjusted in December 2025, and faulty pads were replaced.
The balance was also adjusted, so it is ready for immediate use.

The previous owner removed the guard for the Low D key. This allows for a more direct sound but may impose some limitations on your playing form. Please be aware of this.
Additionally, the bocal receiver has been enlarged by a repair shop to accommodate the size of modern instruments. This means you can use bocals from Schreiber, Yamaha, and other brands.

There is a repaired crack on the bell ring. This does not affect the sound, but please note it.
Update 3/18: While there are no issues with the sound or functionality, a detached key guide on the double joint was observed. This is not a part that affects tuning, but I am reducing the price by ¥10,000 from ¥30,000 to ¥40,000 (as of 4/21/2026).

The sound projection covers from Low B♭ to High E♭, with no difficult notes and a consistent tone. Furthermore, it produces a rich volume for a bassoon, allowing it to be heard clearly in ensembles.
Personally, I find the low register particularly appealing, so I can recommend it for wind ensemble use or for second bassoon players.

Includes two no-name bocals (updated 4/19/2026) and a backpack-style semi-hard case. If you would like, I can also provide a strap for a tenor saxophone free of charge, so please inquire.

I am very conflicted about selling it, so I may remove the listing without prior notice.
