Introduction
JO1 was formed in 2019 through the survival audition program PRODUCE 101 JAPAN. The 11 members are Shosei Ohira, Ren Kawashiri, Takumi Kawanishi, Shoya Kimata, Sukai Kinjo, Junki Kawano, Keigo Sato, Ruki Shiraiwa, Shion Tsurubo, Issei Mamehara, and Sho Yonashiro.
This movie follows JO1's first two years after their debut. It captures their turbulent journey from their debut on March 4, 2020, through the restrictions they faced due to the spread of COVID-19, culminating in their long-awaited live concert with an audience, 2021 JO1 LIVE “OPEN THE DOOR”, in November 2021. The film is directed by Tetsuro Inagaki, who also directed the Mr. Children film GIFT for you.
