Crafted in Siam (modern-day Thailand) during the mid-century era (c. 1940s–1950s), these distinctive cone-shaped earrings showcase the incredible high-contrast artistry of traditional niello metalwork. The cones hang elegantly via integrated O-rings from perfectly polished dome-top Niello inlay buttons with their original, fully functional screw-back mechanisms.   This pair features an exceptional 3-panel Niello inlay design with hand-etched borders:   * Two Panels depict Mani Mekkhala, the Goddess of Lightning. She holds a magical crystal that deflects her rivals, creating the spectacular flashes of lightning across the storm clouds. * The Third Panel features the serene Thai Guardian Angel, Thepanom, in a traditional lotus posture with hands folded.   Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful, natural age-appropriate patina. The dark niello inlay remains beautifully intact with minimal wear.
